Wood-plastic composite

Wood-plastic composites are modern composite materials that are widely used for furniture, benches and outdoor ground coverings. Unlike pure wood, they are water- and weather-resistant. Compared to pure plastics, they are more consolidated and expand less under thermal exposure.

Wood-plastic composites are composed of wood fibres or powder which are mixed with plastics and other additives. This means they can be adjusted to achieve certain material properties. The real advantage is that they are very well suited for all current thermoplastic processing methods.
