Phosphate mining

Phosphates from Budenheim are extracted from sediments which are millions of years old. These can be found on the "Plateau des Phosphates" in Morocco. In a complex and unique cleaning procedure these sediments are turned into pure phosphoric acid. Through its use today, it finds its way back into our bodies and our everyday lifes. This completes a cycle of millions of years - a cycle of life.
